The Second Wind Reset
A 10-week program for men in midlife.
You've probably tried to push through it. This is something different.
Who it's for
The Second Wind Reset is a 10‑week, one‑to‑one program that helps men in midlife steady their nervous system, reduce constant tension, and regain clarity and energy so moving forward feels calmer and more grounded.
The Reset is for midlife men who feel functional but restless.
You're functional and you show up. But something has shifted. The body doesn’t rest the way it used to and there's a quiet sense that something needs to change even if you can't name it yet.
This program is for men who are willing to work with that. Steadily, without being directed, without being fixed.
The work
The Reset works directly with the nervous system through breath. Over 10 weeks, patterns of holding soften and clarity re‑emerges — not because it’s forced, but because the system has been given enough safety to let go.
This is a steady arc of work, held over time. Not a series of standalone sessions.
We meet for 60-minutes once a week, online or by phone, at a time that works for both of us.
Week One — Taking Stock
We pause properly. You reflect on where your life is actually asking for attention — not what should matter, but what does. Together, we shape the reset around what’s most relevant for you. No rigid framework. No forcing insight.
Weeks Two to Nine — Resetting What Matters
Over the next eight weeks, we focus on one key area of your life at a time, guided by what feels most relevant and alive for you now. There’s no fixed order. We follow what your system is ready for. Sessions are guided using Core Clearing Breathwork — a grounded, breath‑led process that supports nervous system regulation and release.
The Final Session
We review what’s shifted, consolidate what’s important, and close the reset cleanly and grounded. No loose ends. A clear, grounded close.
What this is not
Not therapy
Not coaching
Not performance optimisation
Not emotional catharsis
"Daryl's approach felt steady and adaptive. The program was shaped around what I needed, with space to think clearly rather than being directed. Taking time to breathe and reflect helped things settle. I'm more present now, and clearer about what contentment actually means for me."
— Tony G"Daryl's presence during the session was steady and supportive. The work helped me move out of my head and feel more settled in my body. I left feeling quieter and more at ease."
— Maurice B
I'm Daryl Cook, a breathwork practitioner based in Melbourne, Australia. I hold the Reset with steadiness and without agenda — shaped around the man in the room, not a fixed script.

Getting started
If you’re ready to explore this, the next step is a clarity call — a short, informal 30‑minute conversation to explore fit and answer any questions. There’s no pressure or pitch, just space to see whether this work feels right for you.
If you’d prefer to experience the quality and pace of the work first, I also offer an introductory Core Clearing session. This is a single, grounded session designed to help some people feel whether the work itself is right for them before having that conversation.
If you’re considering the program, a clarity call is still the next step. The introductory session simply supports that decision.
