Second Wind — For Men in Midlife

A 10-week breathwork program for men in midlife.

Flow Game Sessions

A different kind of space for honest questions.

There’s something useful about sitting with other men and staying with an honest question, without needing to solve it.

What these sessions offer

That’s the space these sessions open. A facilitated Flow Game for sitting with a real question.

There are times when something important is present — a question, a decision, a direction — but clarity hasn’t quite formed yet. Not because you haven’t thought enough, but because it needs a different kind of space.

These sessions offer that space. A small group of men, a single honest question at a time, and a playful game that supports listening, reflection, and insight without pressure.

Sessions are offered seasonally to align with natural rhythms of pause, movement, and reflection.

How the sessions are held

These sessions aren’t about solving life. They’re about giving attention to what’s present, at the right pace.

Each session uses the Flow Game — a facilitated inquiry process that holds one personal question at a time. The group listens, reflects, and offers perspective without rushing toward answers.

You don’t need to prepare anything. You don’t need to speak more than feels natural. Listening is as much part of the work as sharing. If you’d like more detail on the Flow Game itself, you can read more here.

"I joined the Flow Game with an open mind, curious about how a group of strangers could help me explore a big question. Daryl created a safe and welcoming space where we could connect and share openly. I left feeling hopeful and inspired to trust in the collective wisdom we all hold."

— Ange D

"I very much enjoyed the game and the safe space that made it easy to share my thoughts freely. I was surprised by how a few seemingly simple questions opened up something important. The insights that emerged helped me gain clarity around the question I brought."

— Anetta P

Seasonal sessions

Seasons offer a natural rhythm for reflection. There are times for gathering, times for letting go, times for settling, and times for rest. Holding the Flow Game seasonally respects that rhythm, rather than treating every moment the same.

Flow Games run once per season. You’re welcome to attend a single session or return across the year as different questions arise. If a session you’re interested in is full, I may open additional sessions if there’s demand — feel free to get in touch to join a waitlist.

Session dates below refer to Southern Hemisphere seasons, which are opposite to the Northern Hemisphere.

Things begin to shift. Spring is a good time to bring a question that’s been waiting; one that feels ready to move. There’s often less urgency here as clarity begins to form without being pushed.
